TheFireDev was founded by Tanner Osterkamp, a firefighter and paramedic who built software systems between emergency calls. He saw the same pattern everywhere: small businesses drowning in tools, vendors, and manual processes that should have been automated years ago.
Most agencies sell you a website and walk away. Most consultants give you a strategy deck and disappear. We do neither. We build and operate the systems that run your business day to day. Lead follow up. Review management. Reporting. Client communication. The operational backbone that most businesses piece together with duct tape and good intentions.
Our approach is different because our background is different. In emergency services, systems either work or people get hurt. There is no “we’ll fix it next sprint.” That mindset carries into everything we build: reliable, monitored, and running 24/7.
